tt odellia

is a contemporary old-style serif by typetype, drawing on venetian letterformsand classical music. fluid stems meet sharp serifs, bringing the movement of the handinto a precise digital design. its name brings together odette and odile from swan lake,a contrast echoed in its gentle curves and angular details. designed for sustained reading,it has enough character to give headlines a distinctive voice of their own.i joined the project to extend the team’s established design, drawing selectedcyrillic and symbol forms in black and developing latin and cyrillic small capsacross light, regular and black. the work also covered numeral systems, fractions, circled figures and currency variants, carrying the family’srhythm and character into the smaller detailsthat make a typeface complete.
